The throttle pot assembly for the C.T.M. HS-890 power chair comes complete with a 5K Ohm TOCOS potentiometer, torsion spring, harness, and bracket. Of particular note is the 15″ long throttle lever (or “wig-wag paddle” as these levers are commonly called).

The throttle pot is also known as the engager or throttle switch. Faulty throttle potentiometers can lead to “jerky” motion while throttling, or no motion at all.
